WHAT ARE CLASSIC EYELASH EXTENSIONS?
Classic eyelash extensions are simple and natural-looking eyelash extensions. They are applied on a 1:1 ratio, which means one extension is attached to one of the natural lashes. This gives you a natural enhancement. Classic Lash extension results are soft, natural-looking lashes that won’t add much volume but will add length.
WHAT ARE VOLUME EYELASH EXTENSIONS?
Volume eyelash extensions go from a natural look that adds some length and volume, to a very dramatic and full look. The lashes range from 2D-6D and anything over a 4D is going to give the appearance of a stripped lash look. The fans at Lucia Lash/Brow are all handmade using a special tweezer. The fans are attached to natural lashes, but they come in smaller sizes which are lighter than classic extensions. It typically takes 2-4 hours because At Lucia Lash/Brow Azabu, Osaka, Okinawa, and Shinjuku, we only use on the spot handmade fans.
WHAT ARE HYBRID EYELASH EXTENSIONS?
Hybrid lashes are a 70-30 mixture of both classic lashes and volume lashes. Choosing hybrid extensions gives you the best of both worlds. Hybrid is achieved by mixing classic lashes and volume lashes placed to frame the eyes. Hybrid extensions offer more volume, but without the sometimes-unnatural look of volume lashes.
WHICH IS BETTER?
Classic lashes require little preparation, so they’re more affordable if budget is important to you. Volume lashes require a higher level of skill and time investment on the part of the technician, as the fans are being handmade during the service.
Any technique is a good option for you, it really depends on the look that you want to achieve.
